Dan Horlock
Junior Tattoo Artist
Dan joined Mystic Workshop in 2023 and has spent the last few years developing a bold, illustrative approach to tattooing.
His current work centres around psychedelic trad-inspired fantasy, combining the strong shapes and solid foundations of traditional tattooing with strange creatures, fantasy imagery, confident linework, movement and psychedelic influence.
Alongside this, Dan has a strong background in geometric and ornamental tattooing and continues to take on selected projects across these styles.

“Hey, I’m Dan. Over the last few years I’ve experimented with quite a few different styles, but recently I’ve found myself coming back to bold traditional shapes, weird fantasy ideas and psychedelic artwork.
That’s the direction I’m really enjoying pushing now. I love strange creatures, exaggerated characters, unusual patterns and designs that feel a little bit otherworldly.
I’m still happy to take on geometric, ornamental and other custom work too, so if you like what I do but your idea doesn’t fit perfectly into one box, send it over.”
