Jack Kellythorn
Tattoo Artist
Specialisation: Bold, Traditional Inspired
AKA: Agent Orkid
Jack brings nearly two decades of creative experience to the tattoo chair, carrying the same energy that once fuelled his career as a graphic designer and large-scale muralist. His style is a love letter to bold lines, cult imagery, and underground art — a fusion of Japanese and American traditional influences with his own surreal, imaginative sketches.
Composition and readability are at the core of Jack’s process. He favours bold-to-medium line weights, building designs that hold their strength both up close and at a distance. His philosophy’s rooted in longevity — tattoos should remain punchy and harmonious as they heal and age.
Jack’s tattoos blend bold lines, surreal imagery, and underground influence into work that’s instantly recognisable. A sharp draughtsman with a strong visual voice, Jack is the artist to see when you want your tattoo to scream personality. His portfolio says the rest.

People bringing five friends to their appointment
“I spent years as a freelance graphic designer and professional muralist before delving in to this industry nearly 5 years ago. Beyond having roughly 2 decades of experience creating illustrative graphic projects and large, feature-rich street art, I now look at tattooing through a lens that understands composition and readability.
I favour bold to medium line weights because it brings a level of harmony to a tattoo. I believe that designs should be able to be seen from both up close and at a distance, so that detail sits well in the skin once healed for years to come.
My inspiration for tattooing has come from my love for many facets of underground culture. I’m inspired by obscure art, folk art, graffiti, cartoons, comics, sci-fi, fantasy, electronic music, retro pop culture, spirituality and nature; basically anything that reflects my beliefs and interests. What excites me most is when a client can understand who I am through my art, and wants to book in with me over a shared interest.
Please let my portfolio convey what I can’t put in to words, and I hope to hear your ideas soon.”

Jack’s Prices
Jack’s pricing structure is roughly as follows. Sometimes it’s easier to quote by the piece. It’s worth mentioning the nuances of quoting larger scale work. It’s hard to quote for a sleeve or a backpiece without knowing crucial info such as height of the client, size of the limb and desired level of detail.
